Advantage Academy H.S.

Advantage Academy (AA) High School is a high school alternative program designed to meet the needs of students who have been removed from the traditional setting due to disciplinary infractions. The program is a blended model of online learning and traditional instructional practices. The program will consist of two half-day sessions (morning and afternoon) and students will be assigned to one session each semester. Students will transition back to their home-based schools once they have completed their assigned time and met all required goals.

School Session Times

Session 1 (8:00am to 11:00am)

Session 2 (12:00pm to 3pm)

Students will be assigned a session upon enrollment based on space availability.

Enrollment meeting days
Tuesday and Thursday (scheduled times)

Attendance Options
In-Person (Face to Face)
Students come into the building and attend classes for a three hour session Monday through Friday. Students who attend in person must adhere to the guidelines listed in the student handbook (Please refer to attached handbook for specific details).

Virtual Option
Students work remotely on class work daily, with set assignment requirements, to maintain enrollment status. Students who work remotely are monitored daily by Advantage Academy teachers who are available for assistance via phone, email or video conferencing, during the school day.  Video conferences will need to be scheduled with the respective content area teacher.

Both options will be explained in greater detail during the enrollment meeting with the building administrator.
