Dr. Tara J. Spriggs
Dr. Tara J. Spriggs is a 24-year veteran English Language Arts teacher who is a proud Lithia Springs High School graduate now working at the Advantage Academy and Performance Learning Center. Dr. Spriggs facilitates all high school grades of Literature and Composition as well as Spanish I, II, and III and several elective courses in addition. Dr. Spriggs brings experience from her early career in the Douglas County School System and from Fayette County Schools where she has taught a wide range of courses from Collaborative to College Preparatory to Advanced Placement. She holds certifications in Reading, Gifted-in-Field, and English for Second Language Learners. In her spare time Dr. Spriggs volunteers her time at Assisted Living facilities, enjoys motorcycling, and hikes trails locally and in the North Georgia mountains.
